Good to know

Our condo features a spacious bedroom, large bath with separate shower, tub, and toilet room with separate door, and dual sinks. The kitchen overflows to the living room and dining room with bay windows, and there is a bonus room off the living area (without a door or closet) with French door entrance/exit and a nice daybed with trundle. We also have dedicated laundry with a full-sized washer and dryer, very convenient for guests a few feet from our front door.

We love how different the condo feels with being located on a corner and having extra windows in both the living room and the bedroom. An added convenience is that we have fewer stairs than many to access the condo. At 53 steps from the top road, getting to and from our place isn't a burden, and another bonus is that our golf cart's assigned parking is the very first spot you come to at the stairway. The cart parks up top, too, and not down at the bottom of the development as many carts do. Our guests also appreciate the convenience of BBQing on the balcony, making it the perfect spot for meals with an incredible view. Just keep an eye on your food if you run inside for something! There are seagulls who will show up very quickly if you step inside and leave food out! Guests enjoy the entire condo (bedroom, bath, living room, dining room, bonus room and kitchen) plus the laundry. Balconies in Hamilton Cove are open between most condos (please see photos) but we've never seen or heard of anyone trying to use our balcony.

We stayed here for our baby moon with our 1.5 year old and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Everything from the amazingly comfortable bed to the most breathtaking view made our trip feel like a true 5 star vacation. Staying at Hamilton Cove is well worth the price because of its private beach, tennis courts and pool. Brent was an amazing host and was extremely responsive throughout our entire trip but to be honest there was nothing we needed to reach out for because his place has everything you need. Stalked with beach chairs, towels, Snorkle masks and more we lacked for nothing during our stay. I can’t wait to come back and stay again and again.

My stay at this private condo in Hamilton Bay on Catalina Island was truly exceptional! The coastal ocean views were absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking sunsets that made every evening magical. The modern, elegant decor created a luxurious yet cozy atmosphere, perfectly complementing the island’s charm. With ample sleeping accommodations, the condo comfortably fit our group, ensuring everyone had their own space to unwind. Access from the entrance was incredibly easy, making check-in and unloading effortless. The provided golf cart was a fantastic touch, allowing us to explore the island with ease. The spacious balcony was perfect for a sunset BBQ dinner and a glass of wine, soaking in the serene ocean views. The hosts were extremely pleasant, providing clear guidance to the property and invaluable tips for navigating around town, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This condo is an absolute gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Catalina Island!

Really an extraordinary place to stay with wonderful hosts. Cannot recommend more - will stay again. It's not far from Avalon - an extremely enjoyable 5 min golf cart ride to and from. The quick drive to town lets you experience a slice of the island that you may miss just staying on the main roads. The hills, cliffside, wildlife and ocean views we got just coming back from the store were worth the trip itself. Having a gold cart is a HUGE benefit - it was a game changer. The layout and décor make it a relax and spacious environment with plenty of spots to enjoy the view. It feels like home when you walk in - spotless, the interior decorating is amazing and the view! I could sit in the living room all day relaxing. It's just the epitome of a vacation home. It's quiet and private - the appliances all feel brand new. The deck is extremely spacious and a wonderful spot to sit and eat/enjoy. I cannot speak more highly of the hosts. Brent is great person and went above and beyond.

Brent & Carrie's place is just fantastic. As are they! As someone who has been visiting Catalina my entire life and have stayed all over the island (including Hamilton Cove many times) this condo exceeded our expectations. Stunning view, beautifully designed, we felt right at home and so comfortable. The bed in particular is a dream to sleep in! The golf cart was absolutely perfect and in great working condition. Easy to operate, and parked right at the top of the steps. Awesome bbq, cooking utensils, the TV's were such high quality and made watching movies so fun. Brent could not have been more communicative and accommodating when we needed something. He went above and beyond to help and stay in touch, and make us feel at home. This is without a doubt on of the very best Airbnb experiences I've ever had, and I've Airbnb'd all over the world! Major thank you to Brent & Carrie for being phenomenal hosts. We can't wait to visit Hamilton Cove again!

Incredible rental from start to finish. Brent answered booking inquiry instantly and provided the most informative email I have ever received. When your rental a place on an island, full of the “unknown” Brent has the most informative Q&A. Friendly, Welcoming and the Condo was BREATHTAKING! The views are incredible, space was super clean and everything provided that you could need while staying there. Being on Catalina… the addition of golf cart made the stay Perfection! A wonderful spot. Clean with gorgeous views. The golf cart was a huge plus to get around. The community has a bunch of activities including swimming/hanging at the beach, fishing off the dock or jumping onto the boat, playground, pool and jacuzzi. Weather was mild even in early August being so close to the coast. Plenty of fans in the condo for the evening but daytime with the windows and doors open wasn’t an issue at all. Brand new kitchen appliances worked great. It was awesome to have the RO-drinking water. We used the pack-n-play for the little one which was great to not have to bring our own. Took a taxi to and from the express without issues. All the kitchen utensils (nice and new) to cook meals including a new BBQ. Smart TV’s were great too. Our family had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to coming back. The cherry on top was Brent. He was extremely helpful and responsive for all questions and concerns.
